| Description |
This one bedroom, self contained apartment, is situated on the lower floor of our villa on the Urbanisation Monte Pego, with stunning sea views from all rooms. A restaurant and bar are in walking distance, as well as outdoor and indoor swimming pools which can be used at a small charge.
Monte Pego overlooks the citrus groves and protected rice fields, and is surrounded by spectacular mountain ranges. It is just a 10 minute drive to the ancient Spanish town of Pego, and a 20 minute drive to Denia, a costal resort with a castle and a ferry terminal. Ferries bound for Ibiza, Majorca and Minorca depart daily, and boat trips can be taken along the coast to view the coastline.
Denia is the gastronomic centre of the Costa Blanca, with numerous restaurants and bars lining the quaint Spanish streets.
The airports of Valencia and Alicante are only one and a half hours drive from the apartment, and both cities are worth a visit for shopping and sightseeing.
Local facilities include 2 golf courses, water sports, quad biking, bird watching, walking/hiking and horse riding. The area contains many miles of sandy beaches, the nearest of which is a 12 minute drive away, through the orange groves and rice fields. To the South of Denia, there are numerous secluded coves, ideal for snorkelling. A car is essential for your visit.
The apartment consists of :
A KITCHEN containing a cooker and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
A LIVING ROOM containing a dining table and four chairs, a sofa bed, easy chair and Satellite TV, and CD/radio.
