| CASA ROSA, which has been featured on the front cover of ''Private Villas'' magazine, was built in 1998 and is a traditional rustic style spacious 3 bedroom detached villa, situated in a peaceful rural location just below the white village of Alcaucin, overlooking the valley and superb views near to Lake Vinuela, the Zafarraya Pass, and the surrounding mountains. Set in a 5,000 sq metre plot amongst olive trees and an almond orchard, with other houses nearby, but not at all overlooked, the villa has good access, is secured by padlocked gates, and is only a few minutes journey from local amenities including bars and restaurants. Mature landscaped gardens create a beautiful backdrop to the ample terracing surrounding the 8''x 4'' pool, providing a perfect spot for keen sunbathers wanting total privacy. All bedrooms are at the rear of the property and have air conditioning units. Bedroom 1 on the ground floor has a king sized bed. Bedroom 2 (double bed) And Bedroom 3 (twin beds) are on the upper floor. Ground floor bathroom adjacent to Bedroom 1 with walk-in shower, washbasin, w.c. Upper floor bathroom with bath/shower over, washbasin, wc, bidet. Both have heated towel rails and electric wall heaters. Fully fitted and equipped country style kitchen. Spacious lounge/diner with patio doors leading to terrace and pool area. Rustic staircase from dining area to upper floor, where a windowed corridor separates the rooms. Wooden beamed ceiling throughout. Ample parking space and covered car port. |

| Ample linen and towels including beach and pool towels. Daily maid service is available free of charge. Car hire is recommended Malaga Airport - 45 minute drive Granada Airport - 70 minute drive City of Granada, Alhambra Palace 90 minute drive Skiing in Sierra Nevada - 2 hour drive City of Cordoba - 2 hour drive The roads to both Granada and Cordoba are straight and easy; both are do-able in a day (we have done the Alhambra Palace in the morning and been back at home by 2.30 in the afternoon, having had lunch in Granada) Nearest beach: - Torre del Mar, (20 minute drive) long wide sandy beach and promenade, many bars and restaurants. Coast from here goes right around to Nerja in the east (30 mins) and beyond, oast numerous beaches and coves to Costa Tropical (50 minutes.) Travelling west from Torre del Mar the lively coastal Malaga suburbs of Rincon de la Victoria and Benalgabon offer more long sandy beaches with promenades, bars, restaurants and chiringitos (40 min drive) Golf ; Baviaria Golf at Caletta de Velez- (30 minute drive east) Annoretta Golf at Rincon de le Victoria - (40 mins west) Alcaucin Village - 3 minute drive - 30 minute walk Lake Vinuela - walks restaurants etc - 5 minutes by car Malaga port, cathedral, museums etc - 40 minutes Large shopping centre and Hypermarket 15 minutes Local restaurants in Puente don manuel (2 minute drive), small supermarket, butchers, bakers, English newspapers etc Local restaurants within 5-10 minute drive include Spanish, Italien, Indian and English cuisines. Nearbye Torre del mar, Torrox Costa and Nerja the choice is endless - excellent Chinese, Thai &International resturants in abundance. (Our booklet in the villa has details of some of our favourites). Prices shown are for the property per week in UK pounds. Please contact the Owners for prices for Christmas, New Year and Easter periods. Bookings for parties of 2 people during high season will be discounted by 5%. Bookings for a minimum of one month during off-peak months will also be discounted. Our preferred changeover day is Saturday, although we can be more flexible out of the summer months. Check in time after 4pm - Check out 11 am.
