| Further Information |
Once a small fishing village Nerja has retained its genuine Spanish charm with twisting, narrow streets and white buildings. The Balcon de Europa is the focal point which juts out into the sea and is a gathering place for tourists and locals.
In the colourful and lively streets, many Spanish and international restaurants and bars can be found. Don't miss the paella cooked over open fires at Burriana Beach on Sundays which has become a popular point for Spanish families and tourists.
The town is backed by an impressive mountain range which is protected from development and is excellent for walking. A popular walk to the water falls is accessed from behind the apartment.
Baviera golf course can be found half hour away at La Caleta. At Burriana beach there is scuba diving and boat hire and bike hire in the town. A nudist beach can be found forty minutes away at Cantarijan beach just before La Herradura.
The famous Nerja caves are thirty minutes away at Maro. Granada is just over an hour away. |
