About 15 minutes walking distance from the marina at Puerto Banus, La Maestranza is situated in the heart of Golf Valley, with 7 courses within 10 minutes drive from the apartment complex, and nearly 50 courses accessible within a 30 minute driving distance!!
Courses include Las Brisas, La Quinta, Aloha, Los Arqueros, Los Naranjos, Marbella G&CC, Mijas, San Roque and Valderrama amongst many others.
La Maestranza is also conveniently located for Mediterranean beaches, makes a great base for touring Seville, Granada, Cadiz and other parts of historical Andalucia, while Gibraltar is only 40 minutes drive away. Skiing is available in winter months at the Sierra Nevada mountains, about 2 ½ hours drive away.
The Apartment LA MAESTRANZA
The penthouse occupies a corner position, with 3 wrap around terraces which catch every ray of sun from dawn to dusk.
There are 2 main community swimming pools (one heated in winter) and one kiddies pool.
The apartment overlooks one of the pool areas while from another terrace you have unspoiled views of La Concha mountain.
A barbecue set is provided for those "I'm on holiday" steak and sangria evenings on the terrace.
Every room is furnished to an extremely high standard, and comes fully equipped for a maximum of 6 people. See details in Furniture Section.
There is a large, well equipped supermarket located next to the complex, as well as a pharmacy, restaurants, and other shopping facilities.
Close by, there are bars, more restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, shops and a shopping centre. The Bull Ring is about 5 minutes walk from La Maestranza, which holds a large Saturday street market where you can buy almost anything.
For those who like to gamble, there is a casino at the Andalucia Plaza, about 10 minutes walk away.
Airport pick-up can be arranged (additional cost) or, if you prefer, you can rent a car at Malaga airport and drive yourself. Directions provided on request. |
