BEDROOMS

The 3 bedrooms all have twin or double beds, so sleep 6 comfortably, but additional sleeping for 2 is available on fold up beds if needed to sleep a maximum of 8. All 3 bedrooms are tastefully furnished with quality furniture, independent air conditioning / heating and built in wardrobes. The master bedroom and second bedroom have an ensuite, whilst the third bedroom has use of the main bathroom.

KITCHEN / DINER
.
The large Kitchen / diner has a breakfast area, hand painted wooden cabinets, a window overlooking the pool and a door out to the dining terrace. There is plenty of cupboard space and a complete range of glass and crockery wear for the barbeque or entertaining, and all the mod cons you would expect in your own home,

Electrical appliances include a dishwasher / microwave / Toaster / kettle / oven / hob / iron & ironing board / extractor and 2 fridge freezers. (A washing machine is also provided but situated in the main bathroom)in the main bathroom).

LOUNGE / DINER
.
Through the front door and mirrored hallway you enter the spacious open – plan lounge and dining room which features an open fireplace, cream leather sofas, wooden cabinets and coffee table, mirrors, lamps, a dining table and chairs, and huge patio doors out to the pool and terrace.

Electrical items include Satellite TV, independent air conditioning & heating, DVD and video player, music system and wireless Internet.

There is also a selection of videos and DVDs, games and toys for children, and a cabinet packed full of books, local information, excursions and maps.

BATHROOMS
.
This villa has 3 full bathrooms – the 2 ensuite bathrooms have showers and the main bathroom with a bath & shower. The master ensuite features an Indian shower and sauna, whilst the second ensuite features a state of the art walk in shower with radio. The main bathroom is brand new and features a fabulous power shower over the bath and also houses a washing machine, concealed in a built in cupboard. All bathrooms have white ceramics, chrome fittings, WC, bidet, sink, mirrors and plenty of storage.

EXTERIOR
.
There are 2 very large terraces – the first is the very private pool terrace which is accessed from the lounge, kitchen or master bedroom. This features the pool, sun beds, coffee tables, a barbeque, an outside dining area, a fabulous shaded lounge area, a 3 seater swing chair and flower borders with lots of exotic plants.

Then upstairs onto the enormous roof terrace, you can see the whole valley before you which spectacularly lights up early evening dissolving into the most glorious sunsets. Up here, there is another lounge area, more dining furniture and sun beds, another barbeque, a fountain, fabulous views and sun truly from dawn till the last rays of dusk!
.
The heated pool is on a SALT WATER system (so no more chlorine damage to hair and skin!), which makes the RETREAT an all year round getaway.

Parking is private, in a courtyard immediately outside the front door of the villa, and secured by a lockable gate at night. At the front terrace there is also a play area for kids with trampoline, play tent and swings. |

MASTER BEDROOM - Has a Queen size four poster bed, antique dresser, Satellite TV, DVD & video player, built in wooden wardrobes, patio doors to the pool and terrace & ensuite bathroom with a sauna.

SECOND BEDROOM - Has Black lacquer Japanese furniture, safe, built in wooden wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with a “state of the art” walk in shower (complete with radio!).

PLACES TO VISIT
.
LA CAŃADA - This is the BIGGEST shopping centre in the area. If you’re a shopaholic, you MUST pay this place a visit, in the summer it is open 10.00am to 10.00 pm, 7 days a week!
.
GIBRALTAR - Generally an interesting day out and the monkeys well worth a visit, but a long way to go to buy English goods in Spain (tax free or not!)
.
MARBELLA TOWN - This place is enormous! A huge choice of shops, bars and restaurants, but generally more of the same of what you would find closer to home, Orange square (main road through Marbella and set back on your left before Café de Marbella) is well worth a visit, as it is a pretty Spanish square with restaurants and orange trees.
Also, you should really go through some of the Hotels between Puerto Banus and Marbella - hotels like Puente Romano, and the Marbella Hill Club down to their beaches. Very posh, but fantastic cuisine, and in the summer the beaches turn into evening venues.

SAN PEDRO - For a real culture change you really should pay a visit to San Pedro Town. The shops are still mostly traditional Spanish. Take a stroll to Bora Bora beach which is the main beach for this area – some very nice places to eat and fun things for kids to do – is much quieter than the Banus beaches and great for families. | | | | Things to do | .

PUERTO BANUS
The famous port of Puerto Banus is only 8 minutes walk from the villa, or 2 minutes by car.
For those of you who have never visited Puerto Banus before, you are in for an absolute treat! Those of you who have been before will already know you are coming back to the most “happening” resort in the Costa del Sol.
Puerto Banus is unique – based around a harbour filled with speed boats to enormous luxury yachts with cars to match and packed full of designer shops, bars, clubs, restaurants, cinemas, market stalls, department stores, and the most spectacular array of trendy, jet setting people – it’s no wonder Puerto Banus has been a playground to the rich and famous for decades!
To top it all off Puerto Banus is surrounded by many of the best golf courses, marine, aqua and safari parks and beaches in the whole of Spain

THE COSTA DEL SOL
.
Puerto Banus is ideally situated, only 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport, and 40 minutes from Gibraltar, the famous mountain monkeys, and tax free shopping! (You can also fly into Gibraltar airport – much smaller than Malaga with fewer flights but also fewer people!)
5 kms north is the delightfully traditional Spanish town of San Pedro with its own unique beaches. 5 kms South is the huge expanse of Marbella town with yet more shops, restaurants and beaches. Just outside Marbella is the enormous retail park known as La Canada, with many English shops, restaurants, bowling, cinemas, and so much more!

The Costa del Sol, especially Marbella generally has good weather all year round as it is sheltered by the mountains behind in the winter, and cooled by the sea breezes in the summer. So if you don’t choose the Costa del Sol for your summer break, why not try a winter vacation? Most residents and holiday makers alike enjoy winter here in summer attire and Christmas dinner on the beach or the terrace! | | | | Nearest Airport | .
