THE OLIVE MILL.. as its' name suggests, was once a working Spanish mill. Carefully restored by its owners Richard & Heather with much Tender Loving Care, many original features remain which all add to the overall charm. If your idea of a cottage/ luxury holiday brings to mind countryside surroundings, peace & quiet PLUS accommodation with character, then read on......
It provides the ideal rural setting which is fast becomming more popular for visitors, far enough away from the 'madding crowds' of coastal resorts but in reality not far away from anything!
Estimated to be over 150 yrs old, The Olive Mill is situated in a small hamlet, orange & lemon groves spread as far as the eye can see, a peaceful location with stunning mountain views. A truly Spanish environment but within easy driving distance to some of the Meds’ beautiful beaches, popular coastal resorts and tourist attractions, also a good base if you like to explore or might be house hunting on the COSTA BLANCA/COSTA CALIDA. However, if you’re simply looking to relax & unwind, this 'Little Oasis' with its’ rustic charm is the ideal spot.

APARTMENTS are renovated to a high standard & feature real beams.Each apartment sleeps 2, comprise of LOUNGE/ DINER with patio doors to own terrace, galley KITCHEN, spacious BATHROOM and a separate twin BEDROOM. We provide bedding, bathroom towels and a complimentary starter pack.
Whilst the apartments are fully equipped for self catering, in addition we offer a pool side bar and stock a selection of quality local wines. Breakfast & some evening meals/ snacks are available if you wish to be catered for.Food is always available on your arrival day, as we appreciate travelling can be tiring.
THE GARDENS are pretty, pine trees provide ample shade and seating, including a comfy hammock. Large safe terraces surround the PRIVATE POOL, Sunbeds, cushions & umbrellas are all provided free of charge.
IMPORTANT LOCATION INFO......
La Murada is a friendly village and just a 5min drive, has all amenities including banks & medical, bars/ cafes and a large Sunday market. Although part of the Alicante Province, La Murada sits on the Murcia border, so an excellent choice for both regions. A hire car is strongly recommended although airport transport can be arranged.
The owners have made their home at The Olive Mill and are proud to share it & their facilities with guests, so someone will always be available to meet you, whatever time!
All durations of booking are accepted and for LONG TERM stays there is a price reduction already and bills (water & elec)are also included. Short Stays & Weekend Breaks always available.

Price is per apartment NOT per person, includes unlimited use of pool/gardens, welcome pack, and linen/towels. Cleaning/laundry change for visitors staying 1 week or more. Laundry change applies to Long Lets too, most owners don't provide this service.
2008 prices being held the same as 2007 rates, and remain the same until the end of Summer 2008....NO CATCH, JUST GREAT VALUE. Most rentals charge more for Easter/Bank Holidays, WE DO NOT.
ALSO....PRICING IS FAIR...We charge only for the days you are in residence, Full weeks are not charged for if your holiday requires odd days E.g..10 days etc..

| | We stayed at the Olive Mill in August 2007, we had a great time, it is so relaxing and a refreshing change from the bustle of life, ( or fighting over the sunbeds).
Richard and Heather the owners are very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is good and if you wish to eat there the meals are excellent and plentiful. We will be visiting again. |

| | I visited the Olive Mill in June 2007 with 2 other busy tired mums. We went for a relaxing weekend break and that is exactly what we got. The setting is absolutely beautiful. The outside space and pool area are stunning - it was so peaceful and relaxing. Our hosts Heather and Richard catered for our every need - the food was delicious and the bar well stocked. A perfect place to come - will definitely return. |
