The house is in a coastal area just outside the town of Ayamonte, on the estuary of the River Guardiana, with the bridge connecting Portugal with Spain in close proximity. This part of the the coast is famously known as La Costa de la Luz (the coast of light) as a result of its long hours of daylight. The new development in which the house stands is tastefully designed, with a lovely community ‘feel’ about it, convenient parking facilities and great views across the estuary towards the bridge.
The house has a kitchen, utility room and large lounge / diner on the ground floor, which opens out on to a patio and garden. On the first floor are two more double bedrooms, one leading on to a large terrace, plus a bathroom. There is also a spacious front terrace on this floor. On the top floor is the master bedroom with a sizeable en suite bathroom. The bedroom leads out on to a large terrace which runs from the front to the back of the house. |
