Between Fuengirola and Marbella a few miles from Puerto Banus lies Calahonda, Our popular ground floor air conditioned apartment nestles in a prime, peaceful and well established location, has car park and is furnished to a high standard. With a fully fitted kitchen with kettle, toaster, juicer, fridge, coffee maker and electric hob &oven, micro wave, washing machine.
There is ample china, cutlery and cooking utensils etc. Satellite 32 inch LCD / PLASMA TV, DVD/ CD /FM Radio, home cinema surround sound + movies. Iron &board &bedding. 1 double and 2 single beds, cot and spare folding bed, hand &bath towels. There is a large furnished patio. Overlooking 9th tee of La Siesta golf course.
The complex boasts three swimming pools; One is directly overlooked by our apartment. 2 full sets of right handed Lynx golf clubs are provided in the apartment, 1 set carbon shafts the other steel, if you don''t want to bring yours, please be our guest.
Close by is a new sports club with tennis, squash, sauna and gym. A great family holiday spot on the Costa del Sol ! |

Calahonda is a relatively quiet seaside town, friendly and welcoming. There are many bars, supermarkets and restaurants, quite a few within easy walking distance.
The Spanish seem to be able to converse in most European languages and there is good bus & taxi services at very reasonable cost. There is a motorised ''train''; Like you see at fairgrounds which will take you all around Calahonda - get off and on as you please with the one day ticket.
You are never far from fantastic beaches, Calahonda, Cabopino, La Cala, and Royal beach. All have beach bars and restaurants where you can enjoy locally caught fresh fish from the barbie,or paella''s along with good service for children''s menu''s.
For that special occasion there are a few 4/5 star restaurants just a short cab drive away in La Cala and Marbella. They have the largest travelling Feriea (Fair)during August it''s likely you will ever see one so big, like a small town and is open from dusk till dawn.
At Easter time the holy processions are a sight not to be missed.
Just 8 miles to the left is Bustling Fuengirola and to the right Marbella! and Orange Square. Gibraltar is about an hour or so drive (remember you will need your passport to enter, it''s UK soil) Great shopping in Gib and a good day out with tours up the rock to see the apes.
Wall to wall golf within 5 miles of our apartment there are about a dozen championship style courses and about 40 along the stretch from Malaga to Puerto Banus.
Water parks, a zoo, Equestrian centres, Safari park, Horse racing, Go carting.
Fishing trips and cable car ride in Benalmadena where you will find the famous Tivoli World amusement park! So much to see and do, you will need a fortnight. Or just relax and read round the pool, take lunch at the golf club (300 yds.) and in the evening cook for yourself and eat al fresco on our terrace.
With over 325 days of sunshine a year. Close to everything but far enough away to be peaceful, chill or thrill it''s up to you its all there! |

Juicar, toaster, Iron and board. A foldaway cot and pushchair are provided along with a spare foldaway single bed (Z bed). All bedding and towels provided (please bring your own for use at the beach or pools.
32 inch LCD flat screen TV with Sky freeview. DVD and surround sound incorporating FM radio and CD. | | | | Furnitures | The apartment has a comfortable lounge with 2 and 3 seater leather sofas, open to dining area with table and four chairs. One bedroom has a double bed the other, two singles.
The patio terrace is undercover and gets the sun all afternoon patio table & six chairs and two sunloungers are provided | | | | Outdoors | The apartment and pools are situated on a well established, security gated development and surrounded by lush gardens and walkways with lemon, pomegranate, almond, banana and quice trees with Jasmine and Rosemary scented paths. We overlook La Siesta 9 hole golf club a very pretty and serene par three course and two full sets of Lynx (Right handed clubs are provided in the apartment, so not necessary to bring your own. Buy your own golfballs!
There are about a dozen premier courses within 5 - 25 mins. drive. 300 yards walk willl take you to a fantastic tennis club where you can pay by the day and play, or get coaching, with a state of the art gym and creche, cafe and outside jacuzzi.
A Welcome folder will describe more activities such as Sea fishing or Dolphin spotting trips, Aqua parks,Theme parks etc.etc. The complex boasts three swimming pools of good size and don't get over populated by users | | | | Things to do | There are great beaches within 1 kilometre to 5 K. all well worth a visit. Golf and tennis club within 300yards. restaurants a plenty. Nice bars and eateries in walking distance. In nearby La Cala is the famous hipodromo horse racing curcuit, a brilliant night out for all the family with live music pubs and pizza house, do not miss this! Gibraltar is about an hours drive a great day out. Puerto Banus is about 25 minute drive, mingle with the rich and famous with breathtaking shopping, beaches, bars and nightclubs. | | | | Nearest Airport | Malaga
Arrive at Malaga airport and we are about a 25 minute drive along the coast road. We can arrange car hire to meet you as you leave baggage reclaim.

| Dear John, the stay at your apartment was wonderful. By comparison to others that we have stayed at it was vastly superior, immaculately clean and in a prime location. I think the most important thing was that it felt like a home, away and a lovely place to return to. The location was ideal, very central to all activities. So, many thanks for your hospitality and hopefully we can return sooner than later. a real kick of your sandals holiday!.

| | Hi John, Well what a great holiday we have had. The apartment was lovely, by far the nicest we have stayed in, very cosy, home from home. The complex was very peaceful and clean with a tropical feel to it. We spent most nights chilling with a bottle of wine on the patio feeling very relaxed and taking in the view. The pool area is very lush and green, felt like we where in the garden of Eden. The neighbours were friendly and we felt at home away in Spain. We have had ten very hot days and loved every minute of it. Overall we were very impressed with our holiday and you will no doubt be hearing from us again in the future. Thanks a lot.
