La Capilla oozes character, yet has all the modern conveniences for making your holiday home from home.
La Capilla (old Chapel) was rebuilt in 2006 using solid oak beams, solid wood doors and true andalucian syle windows with shutters.
The accommodation is spead over two floors.
On the upper floor there is a very large vaulted double bedroom with en suite shower room with the added luxury of your own private roof terrace with seating looking down over the pool and the most amazing views over mountains, even down to the sea. Above the bed is a large ceiling fan for summer cooling.
Downstairs the main living area with a very high vaulted chapel like ceiling await. there are 2 ceiling fans cooling this light and airy space, ideal for those wanting to retreat from the mid day sun.
There are two comfy sofas, a solid wood dining table with seating for six, along with a fully equipped kitchen for all your needs during your holiday.New this year is TV WITH SATELLITE SKY CHANNELS IN ENGLISH, DVD AND STEREO.DVD's available on request. Bring CD's.
For winter lets, warm up with the large log burner and mobile gas heater. Gas provided.
From the hall way leading to the upper floor, are two twin bedded rooms (both with ceiling fans) with double doors leading to their own private terrace each. and a large modern shower room with marble surface, wash hand basin, large mirror with lights , toilet and washing machine.
Put up bed available for seventh guest if required. Travel cot available on request.
From the large vaulted lounge, double doors lead you to the several terraces with breathtaking views. You can cook outside on a brick built BBQ, easy access from kitchen and make the most of the shaded seating area for six.
For those sun lovers, take you pick which terrace to sit on, depending on the view you choose to enjoy, all being totally secluded. Our unique swimming pool with a seating area at one end and swimming at the other lies naturally within the landscape. Just relax or swim whilst gazing over at the panoramic views that surround you.
Just sit back in the pool with your favorite tipple, whilst watching the rest play in the cool water.
La Capilla is ideal for those wanting to get away from the crowds, enjoy tranquility in beautiful scenery, yet not be far from a village or the coast.
Flexibility on changeover days to make the most of cheaper flights available mid week.
All bedding and towels provided and changed weekly. PLEASE BRING TOWELS FOR POOL/BEACH USE.
The pool will be cleaned for your arrival and during your stay.
Flights available to Malaga 30 mins and Granada 1 hours drive.

| Further Information |
La Capilla lies just five minutes drive from the pretty white washed village of Riogordo in the region of Axarquia. The village is typically Andalucian with its winding streets and large selection on restaurants ranging from tapas bars, a pizzeria and several high class restaurants. Riogordo has a large selection of small shops including three mini markets which sell freshly baked bread every day, a pharmacy, four butchers, a fishmonger, a weekly market, a shop for stamps, a Post Office and two banks. The 24 hour Health Centre is situated in the next village of Colmenar.
Just 10 minutes drive and you will find the outstanding Lake Vinuela with many bar/restaurants and a little further to the coastal town of Torre del mar with its famous fish restaurants. Nerja just 10 minutes further along the coast is well worth a visit. Aquavelis water park is 20 minutes drive for those wanting a fun day out.
The excellent road links from La Capilla make this an ideal base to visit Granada (1 hour), Antequera (30 minutes), Ronda and Gibralter (under 2 hours),Cordoba and Seville (2. hours). |
