| Description |
Casa Magdalena is found in the oldest part of Almachar village on a narrow street which twists and turns up to the central plaza. Although 100 years old and a typical example of an Andalucian village house, the cottage was completely renovated in 2004, using local materials, and is now a comfortable home. All the furniture is new and rustic in keeping with this pretty, beamed cottage. Relax on a lounger or dine in the sunshine; the roof terrace is a dreamy place to be.....And when you tire of the views and have explored this fascinating hillside village, a sandy beach is just a short drive through the countryside.

I thought you might like to know how we got on in Almáchar, being the first paying guests at the villa Magdalena.
The villa was great, just what we wanted...it's lovely to see a Spanish village so close to the coast, which has not been spoilt !!! The welcome pack WAS very welcomed on the Sunday! - and on the Sunday evening we were also given a pot of homemade soup from one of the neighbours!!
We were extremely lucky with the weather - not a spot of rain!!!!! So all in all a perfect week. |

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in Euros and UK Pounds.
Discounts available for lets of 3 weeks or longer.
Please ask about long lets between Nov and March.
Changeover day is flexible. Mid week flights are often cheaper. Guests are met on arrival with keys etc.
Feel free to make a provisional booking for 24 hours while flights etc are booked. A 25% non refundable deposit is requested to confirm your booking. Payments can be made in euros or UK pounds.
Accommodation
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed and sunny balcony.
Bedroom 2 has comfortable twin beds.
Bathrooms: Attractively tiled and beamed bathroom in Andalucian materials. Shower over full size bath, hand basin and WC.
Kitchen: Fully tiled kitchen is well equipped for 5 persons.
Ample worktop space has double sink below window with views. Equipment includes toaster, juicer, kettle and utensils for 5.
Living Rooms: The lounge is bright and airy with double doors opening to a small terrace. Includes a quality double sofabed, TV, DVD, CD/Radio/tape music system and electric fan.
Separate dining room includes dining table and chairs for 6 persons.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: All towels, tea towels and linen for 5 is included. An extra set is provided for lets of 2 weeks or more. Professionally cleaned between lets. No maid service.
Notes on accommodation
Magdalena cottage is well suited as a quiet retreat for a couple or a family with 2 or 3 children. Please note though that the roof terrace may not be suitable for very young children? Please ask if in doubt.
Fans are provided in summer and electric radiators in winter.
