Charming one bedroom ‘Casita’ with its own swimming pool. Lovely rural location with stunning views near Alhaurin el Grande. Close to all amenities and less than half an hour from Malaga Airport.
The Pool House is a newly converted house which has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. It is built within the grounds of Finca la Paz (the Farmhouse of Peace) in rural Andalucia and enjoys a peaceful and relaxing position with spectacular views toward the Sierra Nevada mountains.
The Finca is planted with a wide variety of fruit trees such as olives, lemons, pomegranates, figs etc. all of which flourish here in an area which has probably the best climate in Europe with an average of 320 days sunshine a year. It is an ideal retreat for the independent traveller who wants to get away from the ‘bustle’ of modern life.
The accommodation comprises one double bedroom with full en-suite bathroom , comfortable lounge with sofa bed for two and with dining area and fitted kitchen. It is fully equipped for self catering and all electricity, gas, linen & towels etc. are included in the rental. There is off road parking in front of the Casita and a sunny private patio with garden furniture, sun loungers and BBQ.
The new 10m x 4m private swimming pool is set in the gardens of the Finca and there is easy access via a terracotta pathway. It is for the exclusive use of guests to the Gate House and the owners of the property. |

Alhaurin el Grande is a typical Andalucian market town which retains much of its ‘Spanish’ identity. It is just a few minutes drive and you can find a wide selection of Banks, shops, bars and restaurants – many serving excellent local Tapas at very reasonable prices.
For the energetic, horse riding, mountain biking, hill walking, bird-watching,quad-riding, tennis and a wealth of other activities can be found locally. Not to be forgotten are the excellent Alhaurin and Lauro Golf Courses which are also close by. The splendid City of Granada with its Moorish Alhambra Palace is a comfortable day trip, so too Ronda and Malaga or the ‘Rock’ of Gibraltar, and many other one-day trips can be made.
All in all a holiday in The Pool House can be whatever you want. Simply relax by the Pool and enjoy the warm Andalucian sunshine or hire a car and explore this fascinating and historic part of Southern Spain. |
