Set in the Sierra Cabrera mountain range the village of Cabrera is the ideal location for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The villa is reached by a tarmac mountain road flaked by olive trees. The views are spectacular and if you are lucky you might see a family of wild boar out for their morning walk. Bird watchers will be enthralled by the Black Redstarts, Bee-eaters and Great Grey Shrikes, and thats just from the car.
The villa was completed in May 2004 and comprises a roof terrace upstairs and patio leading out from the lounge downstairs where there are breath taking views down the mountains to the sea.
There is one double and one twin bedroom both en-suite and air conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms.
You can enjoy tennis, bowls, walking, horse-riding and golf which are less than 10 minutes away and a large shared pool which is less than 30 metres away where you can stretch out and enjoy the wonderful Spanish sun in an area that boasts the most sun and least amount of rain in Spain.
There are two highly acclaimed restaurants on the mountain, one of which is set in the walls of a Moorish castle and also Fatimas tapas bar where the residents tend to meet up for morning coffee. The golf course which was built on the mountain was recently mentioned in the Sunday Times for being one of the ten most underrated golf courses in the world.
At the foot of the mountain is the town of Turre, which is typically Spanish with markets, tapas bars, numerous restaurants and a well stocked supermarket.
