Description
A comfortable holiday home, formerly a Flour Mill that has been carefully restored and retains some of the original features and Mill Machinery. Only 7 minutes drive to shops, bars and restaurants in Periana village, 30 minutes drive to the unspoilt coast and the closest beach of Torre del Mar. Malaga airport - 60 mins drive. Granada airport- 1h and 45 mins drive.
BEDROOMS: 3 bedrooms (2 doubles + 1 twin bedded room). An extra single bedroom & shower-room is available on request. Sleeps minimum of two and maximum of seven.
BATHROOMS: 2 shower-rooms (1 en-suite) with shower, wash hand-basin, wc and bidet.
LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN: Spacious open plan living room, with dining area and fully equiped kitchen. Cosy living room has a selection of books, travel books, maps, board games and films.
TERRACES: There are 3 terraces with plenty of shade, for al-fresco dining and outside lighting for the evenings.
PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL: The west facing pool is 6m x 4m and has parasols and sun-loungers and is set amongst mature gardens, there is a security gate for children's safety. The shallow end 1m and the deep end is 1.6m.
VIEWS: Breathtaking views of the mountain secenery and olive groves over the valley.
CHILD DISCOUNT: under 12 years old, 50% discounted off the adult price.

The property is fully fenced and has no through traffic. There are banks, a post-office, supermarkets, a pharmacy, tapas bars & restaurants, medical centre and more in the village of Periana.
The local Olive Oil is produced from local olive trees and some of them being ancient, over 1000 years old, which can only be found in this district of Periana. There is a local co-operative in the village that sells high quality oils as well as many other local products.
There are many beautiful walks to be discovered in the area and surrounds. In the orchard you will find various fruit trees including: orange, mandarin, grapefruit, fig, pomegranate, nispero (loquat), chirimoya (custard-apple) and avocado, which can be picked when in season. A good place to unwind and relax in the comfort of an Historical Andalucian Country Home.
There are 11 steepish steps in the property so not suitable for the frail and disabled. A perfect place for nature lovers, bird watching, walkers & trekkers, mountain biking and anyone who appreciates the countryside.
The closest beaches of Torre del Mar are reached within a 30 minute drive from Periana (approx 28kms) where there is also a large shopping centre at 'El Ingenio' with many shops including; Eroski, H&M, Zara, Dunnes Stores and many more. There is also a water-park 'Aquavelis' for children (seasonal opening from June to Sept ). Velez-Malaga is the closest larger town, also within 30 mins from Periana where Lidl and Mercadona supermarkets can be found. We are well situated for easy access to motorways for excursions to Granada (85 kms approx 1.45 hours), Cordoba (164kms approx 2.15 hours) and Seville (211 kms approx 2.5 hours). Closest: Malaga Airport (62 kms, 1 hour).
Guests can enjoy the total privacy of their own home and access, while the owners are at hand in the adjoining part of the building for anything that maybe needed. The owner has a small friendly dog & 2 cats.

Policies
Prices are based on a minimum of 2 adults with no Under-occupancy Supplement, except in high season a minimum of 3. Payment can be made in Euros or £'s. We accept long stays and last minute deals at discounted prices (please enquire). The reservation deposit is non-refundable. Beach towels are provided.
For short stays of less than 7 nights there is a cleaning charge of 50.00 euros.
A charge of £ 6.05 per night for pets.
BOOKING PROCEDURE: A Booking Form and Terms & Conditions will be emailed to you, to be completed and returned back to secure the reservation. The deposit which is 30% of the total price will be required by bank transfer and the balance due 8 weeks before your arrival date.
